has anyone ever resurfaced a tarmac drive . I am looking for a diy method if possible?

The drive is in not to bad a condition but some of the surface is loosening. The council seem to coat pavements with some sort of final surface and I would like to do the same to my drive if possible.

Blackjack is a good product for coasting a driveway, the more solids (asphalt, coal tar, polymers, etc.) in the formula, the better the sealer. So check with your local DIY store and read the contents of the products they have. They also sell 2 foot wide rollers for making the job easier.Sealcoating an asphalt driveway every three years not only will make it look better, it actually will make it last longer. Sealing shields paving from the sun’s ultraviolet rays, which can deteriorate the binder and expose the aggregate. Sealcoating also prevents water and ice from getting into the paving and causing it to crumble.
