if you mean a radiator is not hot you need a radiaitor key about a pound from hardware shops and bleed the radiator by turning the bolt at the top of the radiator opening it just abit not taking it out and letting air out and when water appears close bolt and thats it bled,

IT needs to be bleed to remove air locks, you can buy a little radiator key to do this from b&Q .its quite easy, make sure your heating is swictched off before hand, gently open valve with key,you should hear the air escaping.goodluck

IT NEEDS BLEEDING. uSE A RAG AND GENLY TURN THE VALVE AT THE BOTTOM SIDE OF RAD TIL YOU HEAR A HISSING NOISE AND WATER START TO COME OUT.

I agree with Nutty Girl, what she explained is the right way of doing it! After doing this, you just enjoy the warmth!

If it is a radiator it will need bleeding-
Make sure the heating and pump are off when you bleed, or it can suck air into the system.

If you have a conventional heating system with header tank it will refill itself. If you have a boiler that requires re-pressurising you will need to top the pressure back up, once you have bled the air from the system.-

If by the word heater, you mean radiator, then there is air in it, and you have to bleed the air out. On the top od the radiator you will see on one end a plug with a little square in the middle of the plug. You put a key onto this square, and turn it clockwise. You will hear air hissing , and then water dribbling out. When the water dribbles out, you turn the key anticlockwise to close this little square. You can buy these keys at any DIY shop or B&Q.

Did you hear the world bleeding, when air pass through the it trap in the heater, you most bleed it, or let the air out, to do this you most have a key and a buket of water, put the key in the nobe and the buket near it when the air come out you will hear it, to this tell water come out.
