I have recently bought a lawpack diy will and testement, however what i want to write is too long for the form?

What I want to write as my Will is to long for the form provided. Do you need to use the form or can you just type it and print it out on a normal piece of paper?

You don’t need to use the form – just follow the instructions very carefully .i.e. you need to use the wording given “This is the last will & testament of….” etc. Also make sure you follow the instructions as regards witnessing the will very carefully. You can write your will on anything you like as long as it’s witnessed properly and the proper wording is used, so just copy the wording from the form and add what you want by way of legacies etc.

    Dean, try this:

    http://www.compactlaw.co.uk/free_documents/compactlaw_will4m.doc

It is a Will template similar to those contained in the packs, but you can add as many bequests as you wish.
