look up in the local papers for a joiner.
or you could do it yourself.
you can get paint stripper you bush it on and leave for about a minute then you can scrape it off
when done sand it down untill smooth
then you can repaint it or stain it instead
i did the same for my b&w speakers and they came out great plus i felt proud that i manage a good job

I have seen an ad for a company called “Dip and Strip” in Romford, in the local paper. Apparently they dip doors, etc. in some liquid to remove old paint.
